Client Leadership, Design

As a designer I am curious about unmet and often unarticulated needs - and how to develop propositions that are relevant to users and create value for our clients. Over time in my career, I have shifted focus from designing products and services to innovation portfolios to ultimately shaping innovation efforts at companies based on user and stakeholder needs. Now I help clients identify key opportunities for growth and jointly develop an approach to seizing these opportunities.

As a director in the Deloitte Garage, I have co-led Doblin Germany since the end of 2016, building client relationships, Deloitte network and directing our team and the work we do. At the same time I am responsible for supporting the conception, development and growth of innovative consulting offers at Deloitte.

My work has included developing innovative digital business models for a traditional professional coffee machine manufacturer, building a pipeline of new in-car services and designing their delivery to customers for a big premium vehicle company, and co-creating numerous tools and services to enhance medical therapies, helping innovate beyond the compound.

Prior to Doblin, I worked at a big innovation firm for 15 years both in the US and in Germany. In parallel to consulting, I have been teaching user centered design at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany, and Design Thinking at the German d-School Potsdam / Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI), where I helped to develop and set up the curriculum.
