Design, Insights

Toronto

Regardless of anything, innovation should always be user-led first. I enjoy combining my passion for user research with my love for story-telling and design to help our clients understand the value of using a people-first approach to problem-solving, and comfortably tackle the vast opportunities that open up when we embrace uncertainty together.

While at Doblin, I’ve worked on a broad range of projects in the public and private sector. I ventured into the world of investing to learn from investment traders about what they want, how they behave, and how we might serve them better; I travelled along the coast of Canada to hear from physicians about medical records and administrative processes; I talked to millennials to understand their uncertainties with money; and I created an immersive research experience that tells the story of how we, alongside Torontonias, co-designed solutions for a better experience at a major sporting event.

Before Doblin, I worked as an independent product designer; developed innovative solutions to elevate the experience at a children’s hospital; and had a very short-lived career as a toy-maker.

When not at work, you’ll probably find me at home reading my latest find from the Toronto Public Library. Currently, I’m drawn to reimagining how we tell the stories we come across while doing field-research.
